Ie SOMETIMES WE SHOULDN'T RESCUE CHRISTIANS? "Santorum: US Shouldn't Admit Syrian Christians Since It's 'What ISIS Wants'"

Santorum makes an interesting point. As Christians, especially in America,we are always hearing about how horrible it is that Christians are being persecuted & even killed . And it is horrible. But we also tend to think we should rescue the Christians and try to stop the killing. Santorum seems to be saying that in some cases we need to let them stay even in troubled circumstances because they remain the seeds of faith. Easier said than done I suppose. It does beg the question about how far we should "allow" (as much as we can control it) our fellow brothers & sisters in Christ to be persecuted, even killed? And maybe we need to ask ourselves if our faith is strong enough? We believe, without a doubt, that death is not the end,and that eternal life begins at the end of our earthly life. So we should NOT fear death. Yet,we do. Maybe Santorum's comment is a good reminder of what its all about. As Robert Schuller used to say: "Bloom where you are planted". We all have circumstances in life, for better or worse.

"...
"By bringing them here to the United States, they
will resettle here and they will never go home,
which is exactly what ISIS wants. They want to
decimate the Christian communities and take them
over and them have controlled by the more radical
Muslim elements," he continued..."
