ANOTHER REASON WHY LAUSD SHOULD BE SPLIT UP: "All Los Angeles Unified School District schools closed following 'credible terror threat' "
With one phone call or email,the entire 900+ schools (& 700,000 students) can be shut down just like that. (And now,next time,they will probably decide to not shut them all down because its too costly,assuming somebody is hoaxing them). Why is LAUSD so big? Mainly because of BIG EGOS. There are those who feel big because they can say they have the biggest or 2nd biggest school district in the USA. There's no other compelling reason to keep it as one giant corporate structure.
