i heard Mr. Crawford (crawford broadcasting) talking about "see something say something" in his weekly, or daily, radio commentary and he mentioned the san bernardino neighbors (of the terrorist couple) who said they thought it was unusual that they spent so much time in the closed garage but thought they would be accused of racism if they said anything about it. Mr. Crawford said that they should be considered "accessories to murder" for not saying anything. He blamed these neighbors, but didn't say anything about the fact that if theyhad called the police, chances are high that NOTHING would have been done about it.
--
The police don't normally investigate "unusual" behavior such as spending a lot of time in the garage. Chances are highly likely that they(the police) would have, in fact, written it off as an overly-suspicious neighbor. Mr. Crawford should be aiming his commentary at the police, not the neighbors. The neighbors (normal citizens such as you and I) have learned over time that their complaint would have gone into the "round file" as they say. The redlands and san bernardino police did a great job AFTER THE FACT but chances are LIKELY that nothing would have been done BEFORE the FACT even if this neighbor had complained. I'M JUST SAYING.
